Part-Time Positions
Interpreter Scheduler: Posted Sept. 17, 2018
Indy Translations and Language Center has an immediate opening for an interpreter scheduler at its North Palm Beach, Florida office to serve its interpreting contracts throughout the country. The position is currently part-time, 20-25 hours per week, but may lead to full-time. Excellent customer service and organizational skills necessary. High school degree required. Bilingual Spanish speaker a plus, but not required.
Key job responsibilities:

Respond to emails or calls from clients throughout the country requesting language interpreting services in any spoken language and American Sign Language.

Schedule interpreters for client requests from our internal database or, if necessary, search for new interpreters in a given region of the country.

Put all requests into scheduling software

Receive interpreter reports and timesheets and enter into invoicing system for payment of service providers and client billing.

Contract Language Interpreters
We are currently looking for on-site interpreters nationwide, but particularly to service our main markets in Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennesse, North Carolina and Missouri. Demonstrable experience required. All languages needed, especially the following languges: Spanish, Burmese, all dialects of Karenni, Karen, Arabic, Vietnamese, Mandarin and American Sign Language (certification required for ASL) are in particular demand.
